Chambers are delighted to welcome Jennifer Smith as our new tenant specialising in Family Law

Jennifer successfully completed her specialist family pupillage under the supervision of Christopher Naish. Jennifer has a busy practice of private and public law work and applications under Part IV Family Law Act 1996 (Domestic Violence). Jennifer also intends to build a practice in financial remedies work and is willing to accept instructions in all family disciplines.

Jennifer has been instructed in a variety of hearings from FHDRA’s to final hearings. She has been praised for her attention to detail, thorough preparation and client care. She has been instructed as junior counsel on a three-week fact-finding hearing regarding allegations of sexual abuse. Jennifer prides herself on providing attendance notes expeditiously and this has been noted by those instructing her and she has been very successful in securing repeat instructions. Jennifer’s effective and succinct advocacy has been commended, as has her witness handling skills.
