“Ian was called to the Bar in July 2022, having qualified as a solicitor in 2018.

Prior to joining chambers Ian practised as an in-house solicitor for Devon and Cornwall Police and Dorset Police, managing a large and varied caseload covering civil litigation, employment, inquests, regulatory matters including proceeds of crime, liquor and firearms licencing, and police misconduct tribunals.

As a former solicitor Ian is acutely alive to the demands placed upon the professional client, and strives to provide a service that alleviates some of those pressures.

Ian continues to build a broad civil practice at Chambers and is also accepting instructions in family public law care proceedings.”
