Background

Phoebe is undertaking a specialist Family Law Pupillage under the supervision of William Hillier.

Having studied Law at the University of Nottingham, Phoebe went on to complete her BPC LLM at the University of Law at its Bristol Campus achieving a Very Competent and Distinction. As part of her Master’s course, Phoebe opted for the Pro Bono Pathway which enabled her, as a Student Legal Advisor, to research and advise clients on Family, Child and Mental Health Law matters.

Phoebe has consistently engaged in volunteer work. She volunteered with the Girl Guides as a Young and Adult Leader in her former years and was an active member of the Pro Bono Society whilst at University. More recently, Phoebe was a Community Support Volunteer in Lima, Peru.

Prior to commencing Pupillage, Phoebe provided administrative assistance as part of the Vaccination roll-out during the height of the pandemic and worked as an Administrator for a GP Surgery. She was praised for her patient and empathetic approach and her ability to be astute to patient’s concerns.

In her spare time, Phoebe enjoys travelling, experiencing new cultures and practising her conversational Spanish skills. She is pleased to be living back in Devon where she can spend time with family and friends and enjoys going for coastal walks.
