Tanya Jones

Tanya graduated from the University of Plymouth with First Class Honours in Law. After receiving the H.R. Light Scholarship from the Middle Temple, she undertook the BPTC LLM at the University of the West of England.
Alongside her studies, Tanya volunteered for the South West Employment Rights Centre assisting in Employment Tribunal claims and later became an employed Office Manager. She also volunteered as a Parent Advocate offering advocacy support to parents with learning disabilities and is currently a Student Representative of the Association of Women Barristers.
Prior to commencing Pupillage, Tanya has worked as a Property Litigation Paralegal where she assisted with a wide variety of matters including possession actions, housing disrepair and injunctions. Tanya is an ADR ODR International accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.
Tanya grew up in Plymouth and in her spare time enjoys going on walks and attending rugby events with her family and friends.
