Dr Usmaan Siddiqui 

Overview

Usmaan joined Chambers in October 2024 following completion of a specialist Family Pupillage under the supervision of Christian Gape.

Usmaan is developing a busy practice in all areas of family law, including financial remedies, private and public children law cases as well as Family Law Act Injunctions. He prides himself on his pragmatism, empathy, approachability, and striving to achieve the best outcome for clients.

Usmaan studied Law at University of Nottingham and Nottingham Law school where he completed his LLB (Hons), LLM (Criminal Justice), MA (Socio-Legal and Criminological Studies), PhD, and BPTC LLM.

Prior to commencing Pupillage, Usmaan worked as a Lecturer in Further and Higher Education and has a Fellowship in Higher Education. He also previously worked as a County Court Advocate and Domestic Violence Advocate, completing a specialist Safelives qualification in Domestic Abuse.
