The King has appointed Carol Mashembo to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Brandon Lewis CBE MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Plymouth Combined Court with effect from Monday 31 October 2022.

Carol Mashembo will be known as District Judge Mashembo. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1999. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020
