After successful completion of their 12 month pupillages with Chambers, we are delighted to report that Lewis Jukes and Lauren Garner-Jackson have accepted tenancy with us.
Lewis has had a fantastic start in all areas of civil practice with a particular emphasis on housing work and is praised for his work ethic, passion and enthusiasm. He was supervised by Russell James (prior to his elevation to the District Judge bench) and Charles Cooper.
Lauren has quickly developed a mixed family practice with both public and private law children and financial remedies. She has been praised for her professionalism and quick grasp of the issues. She was supervised by Christian Gape, Head of the Family Team.
We thank Tom Urwin, Head of Pupillage, for all his hard work in overseeing our pupils and their development within Chambers, as well as to the rest of the pupillage committee. We look forward to welcoming our new pupils who start with us this month and note they have excellent role models in our fantastic junior tenants.
Rupert Chapman and Natasha Bellinger (Joint Heads of Chambers) recognise the importance of having strength and depth within Chambers’ offering at all levels of practice. “We are delighted with Lewis and Lauren, who have impressed us from day one. Our pupils really are a testament to Chambers and we are pleased to see that they have thrown themselves into practice and all that a career at the Bar has to offer.”
Do get in touch with our clerking team, led by James Basden, if you would like to book either Lewis or Lauren.
