The need for free legal advice centres has grown in the past few years. The effects of Covid-19 has dramatically increased the need for advice, resulting in more of the population falling into poverty.

The organisations we support:

  • Prevent families being made homeless
  • Prevent destitution
  • Help older people gain the support to which they are entitled
  • Help women and children who have been trafficked for domestic servitude or prostitution

What we can do is to ensure that many of the people most in need get help who would otherwise have been denied.
We simply can’t overcome the effects of the huge reduction in government and local authority funding over the past few years.  What we can do is to ensure that many of the people most in need get help who would otherwise have been denied.

By taking part in the Exeter Legal Walk and seeking sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues, you will be helping to secure vital funds needed for this important cause.

What will happen on the day?

The Exeter Legal Walk gathers the local legal community and supporters of access to justice together to walk 10K to raise funds for the advice sector. Registration will be open between 5.00pm and 5.30pm and we ask that all participants report to register before having a photograph taken with our special guest Lead Walkers. Once this has been done you are ready to set off on the walk and we wish all the best of luck!

At the end of the 10K, each walker will have a chance to relax, mingle and network at our post complimentary drinks reception.
