On 25 October 2022, William Hillier and Emma Cross delivered an advocacy skills workshop to junior lawyers at Somerset County Council.
The interactive workshop focussed on court hearings in Court of Protection and Care proceedings with William and Emma sharing their top tips and experiences and answering questions in a friendly and approachable way.
The workshop was well received with attendees providing positive feedback including the following:

As someone with no real advocacy experience, the training material was really helpful and I felt that Emma and William were flexible in their delivery and adapted easily to accommodate the needs and questions of the participants, which helped to provide a relaxed environment.”
